Transfers

In October 2010 Elder Taylor was transfered to Tomsk, and Elder Kolpakov finished his mission and went home to Volgograd (used to be called Stalingrad).  Also in October Elders Stewart (from Irkutsk - 8 hours by train) and Brightwell (from Krasnoyarsk- 24 hours by train) were transfered to Ulan-Ude.  A few photographs are shown below.
On Monday evening 11 October 2010 we had a Branch Family Home Evening to say good-bye to 2 missionaries.  Here Elder Kolpakov is writing during in someone's journal before his train was to depart to take him to Novosibirsk and then home to Volgograd.  He has finished his mission.

This is at the train station on Monday evening 11 Oct 2010.  Elder Kolpakov's train departs at 11:10 pm.  L-t-R are:  Lena, Elder Septon, Elder Kolpakov, Elder and Sister Moleff, Elder Rupper and Elder Taylor, and Olga.

This is at the train station on Tuesday, 12 Oct 2010 at 10 am.  Elder Taylor is leaving for the city of Tomsk.  He is talking with Nikolai, a recent convert he helped teach.

As you can see more come out to the train station when someone leaves at the decent time of 10am.  L-t-R: Nikolai, Sister Rivas, Natasha, Lena, Lena, Vanya, Dima (taking discussions), Elder Septon, Baer (recently baptized), Sister Kukhta, Elder Taylor, Iour (recently sustained as a Branch Missionary), Aleysa, Olga, Tuyana, and Sister Moleff.  In this picture there are: 5 Missionaries, 1 returned missionary,  5 converts this year, 1 convert a year ago, 3 non-members (2 who are taking the discussions) and 1 member, and of course Elder Moleff who is taking the picture.  The two Lenas are mother and daughter.

Elder Septon was not adequately dressed for the cold. Nikolai has put his scarf on Elder Septon.  Olga lent him her ear muffs and later on someone lent Elder Septon a hat.

At the train station.  Arriving Missionaries: Elder Brightwell and Elder Stewart.  L-t-R: Elder Stewart, Elder Septon, Elder Brightwell, Sister Rivas, and Sister Kukhta, and Elder Rupper.  Our new Zone minus Elder & Sister Moleff.  This transfer we went to the train station 3 times:  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  Once we went to the airport twice and the train station twice during transfer week.  Now we can settle down to get some missionary work done.
