Various Events

First Baptism in 2010:
Аюр (Iuor) was baptized by Elder Trunov on 27.02.2010.  He is a very special young man and comes to all branch activities.  He was born with physical defects.  He will not recognize his body in the Resurrection.

 Branch Members:

These, by and large, represent the active members of the Ulan-Ude Branch.  What we see here are some of the finest Latter-day Saints in the world.

 S&I Students:
These are our active Seminary and Institute Students.  A very talented and devoted group of young people.  The person in the red striped tie in the front is Sasha, our Novosibirsk Mission CES director.  He is loving and loved by all the youth he presides over.

Relief Society Birthday Party:

On 19 March 2010, the Ulan-Ude Relief Society celebrated the Relief Society Birthday.

Missionaries Leaving for New Assignment:
From L-t-R: Elder Larkin who will stay and train Elder Septon a "Greeny." Not so green Elder Moleff is staying until January 2011;  Babaluba our missionary Grandmother, she watches over and feeds the missionaries like they were her own grandsons.  A very grand lady.  Elder Nielson who is leaving for Krasnoyarsk;  Elder Wheeler who will be Co-ZL with Elder Taylor who will be coming in and is new to Ulan-Ude; and Elder Trunov (ZL) will leave and be a trainer in Novokuznetsk.

 Elder Septon Gets Here:
Ulan-Ude is now blessed with 2-red headed missionaries-Elder Septon and Sister Calderwood.  This is Elder Septon's first area in the Novosibirsk Mission.  He is being "born" to the mission field in Ulan-Ude and already speaks pretty good Russian.  We are very pleased to have Elder Septon as part of our District.  Elder Septon was born in Yakima, WA.  From L-t-R are:  Elder Wheeler, ZL; Elder Septon; Sister Fronk; Sister Calderwood (from Alaska), and Elder and Sister Moleff.

Our New Zone -Elder Taylor Gets Here - our Zone is now complete
Top Row L-t-R: Elders Moleff, Septon, Larkin, Co-ZL Elder Taylor, and Co-ZL Elder Wheeler
Bottom Row L-t-R:  Sisters Moleff, Calderwood, and Fronk.  Elder Taylor appears to be a very spiritual person and will strengthen our Ulan-Ude District.
