Ulan-Ude Humanitarian Project
A heart monitor was donated by the church to the Maternity Hospital of Ulan-Ude. On February 6, 2010 a humanitarian project closing ceremony was held at Woman's Hospital # 2 to acknowledge the receipt and use of the heart monitor. The following are few photographs of that ceremony. We do have a copy of the video feed of the ceremony as it was shown over an Ulan-Ude TV station.
This is the room where the heart monitor is located shown on top left. There were 3-babies that were located in special apparatus.
This is a photograph of the Church donated heart monitor. We were told that the monitor has saved the life of at least one baby.
This is a photograph of the hospital staff presenting a plaque of appreciation to the Church. Second Counselor to the Mission President, President Southam is accepting the plaque in behalf of the Church. The Sister on the right, Ouna the Branch Public Relations Director. Standing to the left of President Southam, is President Baldakov the Ulan-Ude Branch President. The 3-individuals in the middle are members of the hospital staff. Elder Moleff is on the top right.
