Zone Conference

President and Sister Southam, 2nd counselor in the Novosibirsk Mission Presidency, came to Ulan-Ude on Saturday 19 September 2009 to conduct Zone Conference.  Talks were as follows: Elder Stahle spoke on Accountability; Elder Moleff on Our Responsibilty to Help Others Become Converted; Sister Southam on Being Prepared; and President Southam on Missionary Purpose.  There was also missionary role- playing, proselyting activities, and, of course, a great Chinese food lunch.  After Zone Conference we had the baptisms of Elena, Aruna, and Ariuna - a great finish to a great day.  On the following day, Sunday, neither of the Branch Presidencies had scheduled Sacrament Meeting talks, so President and Sister Southam gave the Sacrment Meeting talks for two Branches that were different for each Branch and were excellent.  A  Photograh of those who attended Zone Conference is shown below.
