During the first week at the MTC we learned and taught discussions, answered phones at the Referral Center, and prayed and testified in Russian. Our Senior Missionary group consisted of Brothers and Sisters that will go to the following places: Russia, West Indies, Canada, Hawaii, Church Office, Africa, North Dakota, Baltimore Maryland (Replacement for the Yetters), California, Nairobi Kenya, Hungary, West Germany, Iowa, Latvia, Germany, Ukraine, Australia, New Hampshire, Switzerland, West Virginia, South Carolina, Texas, Europe Area, and Baltic Mission.
We had District Training Meetings. This is our District: The left couple is going to the West Indies, while the middle and right couples are going to Russia.
Our Russian language class is shown below: Left couple is going to the Ukraine, middle person is our instructor (Russian born), and we are going to Russia. There were several Russian classes
going on at the same time. Very personal instruction. We received 6-hours of Russian language instruction at the MTC.

Wow it's really happened. You are now serving a mission for the lord! What an exciting time for you! I am sure you will do great picking up the language!
I was so glad to see that you had a blog!! Now we can look in on you and see how your mission is going. You both have always had a very positive attitude about the church and life, I am sure that the people in the Siberian Mission will love you both!!
